Safesense (“we”, “our”, or “us”), operated by Bluemind Bilisim LTD, provides the Safesense mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your information. By using Safesense, you agree to this Privacy Policy.
Health data collected via Apple HealthKit is used solely to provide app features directly to you. It will never be sold, shared with third parties, used for advertising, used for data brokerage, or used for any purpose other than delivering your in-app experience.

Account Information

Health Data (with explicit permission via Apple HealthKit)

- Steps and activity

- Other health metrics you choose to share
Health data is collected solely to provide in-app features. It is never sold, never shared with advertising networks, never used for data brokerage, and never disclosed to third parties except as strictly required to operate the service (e.g., Firebase hosting infrastructure, under strict data processing agreements).
Location Data (with permission)
- Real-time GPS location (including background location when the app is not in the foreground)
- Last known location
Background location access is required to provide continuous family location-sharing — the core function of Safesense. Without it, Circle members cannot see each other’s real-time whereabouts. You can disable background location at any time in your device settings, which will limit location-sharing functionality.

- Firebase Analytics — anonymized usage statistics
- Mixpanel — anonymized behavioral analytics
Analytics data is anonymized by default. You may opt out of analytics tracking at any time via the app’s Settings.
2. How We Use Your Information
- Provide family location sharing services
- Provide health monitoring features
- Send alerts and notifications
- Manage subscriptions and free trials
- Improve the app experience
- Ensure security and prevent fraud
We do not sell personal data. We do not use personal data for advertising. Health data is never used for any purpose beyond the in-app features you have enabled.
3. Circle Data Sharing and Permission Management
Safesense uses a Circle model for family data sharing. Both Circle owners and Circle members have full, independent control over what data they share. Specifically:
- Each user — whether a Circle owner or a member — individually decides which data types they share with others in their Circle (e.g., location, heart rate, sleep data, activity)
- A Circle member may choose to share their location but keep their heart rate private, or share no health data at all
- Permissions are entirely user-controlled and can be changed or revoked at any time without restriction
- No data type is shared by default without the user’s explicit action to enable it
- Revoking a permission takes effect immediately; other Circle members will no longer have access to that data type
Safesense does not override or modify the sharing preferences set by individual users. The data visible to any Circle member is determined solely by what each individual user has chosen to share.
4. Subscription and Payments
- Safesense offers subscription plans with a 7-day free trial
- The free trial automatically converts to a paid subscription unless canceled at least 24 hours before the trial ends
- All payments are processed via the Apple App Store — Safesense does not store any payment information
- Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
- Subscription management and cancellation is handled through your Apple ID account settings
- Refunds are handled by Apple per their standard policies
- Free trial eligibility is determined by Apple and may vary by account
5. Data Storage and Security
- Data is stored on Firebase infrastructure (Google LLC), with servers in the United States and European Union
- All data transmission is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
- Secure authentication is enforced for all accounts
- Access control systems restrict internal data access
As a company incorporated in Turkey, Safesense transfers personal data to Firebase infrastructure outside of Turkey. Such transfers are carried out in compliance with the Turkish Personal Data Protection Law (KVKK) and applicable data transfer regulations.
6. Data Sharing with Third Parties
- We never sell or rent personal data
- Data is shared within Circles only according to each user’s own permission settings
- We share data with Firebase (Google LLC) solely for hosting and infrastructure, under a data processing agreement
- We may disclose data when required by applicable law or valid legal process
Health data is never shared with advertising networks, data brokers, or any third party for commercial purposes.
7. Your Privacy Rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data
- Request deletion of your data
- Request correction of inaccurate data
- Withdraw consent and revoke any data sharing permission at any time
- Export your data
- Opt out of analytics tracking

8. Account and Data Deletion
You may permanently delete your account and all associated data at any time directly within the app:
- Delete all data: Profile → Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Data
- Delete health data only: Profile → Settings → Privacy & Security → Delete Health Data
Upon full account deletion, all personal data including health data, location history, and account information is permanently removed from our servers within 30 days.

9. Children’s Privacy
Safesense accounts may only be created by individuals who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18 without verified parental or guardian consent.
Children under 18 may be added as Circle members by a parent or legal guardian who holds a Safesense account. In such cases, the parent or guardian is solely responsible for obtaining all necessary consents and managing the child’s participation and data sharing permissions within the Circle.
10. Data Retention
Personal data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the service or as required by law. Upon account deletion, data is permanently removed within 30 days. Anonymized analytics data may be retained for longer periods as it cannot be linked to any individual.
11. Data Breach Notification
In the event of a data breach that poses a risk to your rights and freedoms, we will notify affected users via email within 72 hours of becoming aware of the breach, and report to applicable regulatory authorities as required by law.
12. Health Disclaimer
Safesense is not a medical device. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Health metrics displayed in the app are informational only and may not be accurate, complete, or real-time. Always contact local emergency services in an emergency. Do not rely on Safesense as a substitute for professional medical care.
13. Changes to This Policy
This policy may be updated from time to time. Users will be notified of significant changes via in-app notification or email. Continued use of the app after notification constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
