Information You Provide
Users submit content to the App, which consists of various pieces of information that may include the type of violation the user observed, a textual description of the issue, the physical location of the issue, and a user-provided photograph showing the issue. The default physical location of the issue is generated from obtaining GPS or other geolocation information directly from the user’s mobile device. The user may change the location of the submission by moving the pin on the map.
User-provided content on the App may be shared publicly and may be provided to users, third-party service providers, customers (including governments), and street safety advocacy organizations.
If you submit a report to the App and then choose to share that report through a third-party app or service, such as social media networks, you should be aware of the privacy policies of those providers as we do not own or control such external services. If a user chooses to share a report that they submitted through the app with such a service, the user-provided content may be accessible by Internet search engines and may be copied and shared by the general public and users of the Internet.
It is also possible that user-provided content may contain identifying information about other people. For example, a user might include identifying information about a person or property in the textual description of an issue report. Or a user might include a photo of another person as part of an issue report. Providing any such identifying information about another person through the App is discouraged.
If you sign up for any services through our Site, such as our newsletter or to submit an inquiry, you may need to provide us with your name and email address. We will not sell this information to third parties.
Information We Collect
If you upload files to the App to submit a report, including photos, those files are stored on our servers or those of our third-party service providers.
Our server software may also store basic technical information, such as your IP address, in memory or logs. Users should be aware that identifying information such as the user’s IP address, type of device used to access the App or the Site, and other information may be collected and shared with third parties.
If you enable notifications on the App, we must store a token to send them. We never use notifications for marketing.
We may collect information about how you use the Services
This information includes general usage information and may include information such as the number and frequency of our visitors or submissions, which pages or features of the Services they have visited, which links on the Services they have clicked on. We may also use third party applications and services, as well as in house systems to collect and analyze this information. Some of this information may be associated with the IP address used to access the Services. We may also use some of this information in aggregate form. This information enables us and third parties authorized by us to improve and enhance your experience using the Services.
Information Related to Your Web Browser
We automatically receive and record information from your web browser when you interact with the Services, such as your browser type and version, what type of device you are using, your operating system and version, your language preference, the website or service that referred you to the Services, the date and time of each web request you make, your screen display information, and information from any cookies we have placed on your web browser (as described below). Web browser related information is used to enhance your experience using the Services (for example, troubleshooting an error) and to allow us to improve the Services; it is not, however, used in a manner that would uniquely identify you.
IP Address Information
Under certain circumstances we may collect and store your Internet Protocol Address (“IP Address”). We analyze IP Address information to generate aggregated, non-identifying information about use of the Services.
In some cases, we collect and store information about where you are located. This may be accomplished by converting your IP Address into a rough geolocation, or by requesting location information from the device you are using to access the Services. We may use location information associated with content you create or interact with to improve and personalize the Services for you. Location services on your device or computer may be configured to control the disclosure of your location to our services.
We analyze your actions on the Services in order to derive or infer characteristics that may be descriptive of you. For example, this analysis might help us determine the types of issues you care about or the geographical areas you are interested in. These characteristics are used to improve and personalize the Services.
Other Miscellaneous Data
We may place information called web beacons in our emails to you, which allow us to detect when you read our email messages. This helps us measure our email deliverability and effectiveness.
Do Not Track (DNT) Signals
Some web browsers may allow users to configure the browser to transmit a “do not track” signal to web sites and online services that communicate with the user’s web browser. Hayden AI does not take action on those signals.
Ads and analytics
We collect aggregate, anonymous statistics, such as the percentage of users who use particular features, to develop new services and improve our Services. Our Services contain no advertisements to our users.

We may share other user-submitted information from the App only to the extent necessary to accomplish the Safe Sense App Services and functionality. Such information may include IP address, user-submitted photos, and user-generated reports. We also share anonymous and aggregate statistics with third parties, such as how many violation reports were submitted in a particular area related to a violation.
We may disclose any information that you submit to the Service or that we collect about you in response to subpoenas, court orders, or other legal requirements; to exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims; to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal or suspected illegal activities, suspected fraud or abuse, violations of our policies; or to protect our rights and property.
In the future, we may sell to, buy, merge with, or partner with other businesses. In such transactions, user information may be among the transferred assets.
We implement a variety of security measures to help keep your information secure. For instance, all communication with the app and website requires HTTPS, all App submissions are encrypted in transit, and our database containing records are encrypted on disk.

If you choose to receive our email newsletter by providing your email address to us through the Site, you may change your communication preferences or remove yourself from future communications through the newsletter and/or by contacting email@example.com.

Copies of user-provided content may exist indefinitely in accessible form, including in our systems. In addition, any user-provided content that has been anonymized and aggregated with other data may be impractical or impossible to delete from our systems. We are able to delete names and email addresses submitted through our Site. Please contact us if you wish to know what data we may have associated with you and what we may be able to delete.
